If the 7-way trailer connector you have was equipped from the factory which it most likely was then all you will need to do is plug in the brake controller and then you are good to go. The plug for your 2010 Ford E-450 chassis should be located up under the dash, near the emergency brake pedal. If you like you can test the pins inside the connector to see if they are active but you should not need to.

This is primarily caused by two factors, the distance between the rear axle of the RV and the receiver, and the stiffer ride typically experienced in RVs. This causes more shaking and jarring than would be experienced when mounted in the receiver on a passenger vehicle.

The Go Power Extreme kit part # 34282185 uses like a modular connection that allows to easily add more panels as basically you would just attach an additional connector and that's all you'd need to do. The part # GP22VR is a three panel setup that doesn't have the same room to grow but it accomplishes the same for three panels basically.
